New information has come to light with regards to the Xbox 720, which hints that the console will be a power beast when it is released.

iPhone PRO would house 3D camera and detachable DSLR lens
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesApple
Could the next iPhone feature a 3D camera and a detachable DSLR lens? The iPhone PRO is the brainchild of designer Jinyoung Choi and is very much caters to the photography enthusiast. With a 4.5-inch LCD screen, the iPhone PRO would be considerably bigger than the current iPhone 4S with dimensions measuring 128 x 73 x 9.6 mm.
Found on the back of the handset in a central position is a 1.2-megapixel 3D camera that can be hooked up to a DSLR lens that in turn doubles up as a projector with embedded speakers. There’s even a removable hard disk at the bottom of the phone.

Durango Implements Always-On DRM, Multi-GPU
Like UnlikeFiled in: Game ConsolesMicrosoftXBOX One
Microsoft's next-generation Xbox console, codenamed "Durango", will implement an "always-on" DRM, according to a VG 24/7 report. Always-on is a stringent anti-piracy measure that's already in use with some PC game titles published by Ubisoft, which requires the players to be connected to the Internet when playing. Even as its proponents (read: game publishers only), claim increased sales, it faces strong opposition from the gaming community. The Christmas 2013 (tentative) launch of Durango rides on the assumption that fast, always-on broadband Internet will have proliferated to every living room.

Microsoft cuts German link in protest over Motorola
Like UnlikeFiled in: MicrosoftMotorola
Microsoft in a retaliatory move against Motorola ended teamwork with Germany company Arvato for software distribution. The move reported by Germany's Deutsche Presse-Agentur would see about 50 people lose their jobs as Microsoft relocated distribution to the Netherlands. The Windows developer argued that Motorola's H.264 video patent demands made staying in Germany untenable.
A decision is due in Motorola's case versus Microsoft on April 17. If successful, it could ban Windows 7 and the Xbox 360 at the same time, effectively gutting business in Germany. Moving to Germany's neighbor could reduce the vulnerability to legal actions if Motorola wins.

Google Maps typical traffic expands to regular roads
Like UnlikeFiled in: Google
Google Maps on Monday answered a frequent call to widen the coverage of its typical traffic layer. Previously limited to highways and other main routes, it now includes "arterial" roads, or larger main streets often connected to or otherwise near the highways. Google Maps Android users can still voluntarily contribute periodic location updates to help improve the data themselves.
