Optoma is proud to announce five new projectors that have been the very first to be certified by the Trade Act Agreement (TAA). The models include the TL50W-GOV, TW762-GOV, TX762-GOV, TW615-GOV and the TX615-GOV. The TL50W is the only model in the group to use LED lamps. It is capable of displaying 500 ANSI lumens, a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. The other four projectors range between 4000 and 3500 ANSI lumens, have a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and either have a WXGA or a XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. Epson Releases Four New PowerLite Projectors at InfoComm

Epson is one of the many companies on display this week at InfoComm. Yesterday, the company unveiled four new projectors that are coming soon. The models include the PowerLite 1751, 1761W, 1771W, and 1776W. All four models share the same light weight design, 3LCD display technology, and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. The 1751 and 1761W both come with 2600 ANSI lumens, while the other two have 3000 ANSI lumens. With the exception of the 1751 that has a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, all these projectors have a native WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution and wireless networking capabilities. True to their word, ViewSonic is pleased to announce that they have unveiled two new projectors at this year’s InfoComm, the Pro8300 and Pro9000. The Pro8300 is capable of displaying 3000 ANSI lumens, a 4000:1 contrast ratio, and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. There is little known about the Pro9000 at this time, but we do know that it will use a new LED/Laser Hybrid lamp system that combines the two technologies for a superior lamp. Casio announced today at InfoComm two new projectors that will be joining their Pro Series, the XJ-H2600 and XJ-H2650. Both projectors are similar in that they both feature 3500 ANSI lumens, WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, and an 1800:1 contrast ratio. The major difference between the two is that the H2650 has wireless capabilities and the Interactive Whiteboard technology, while the H2600 does not. Optoma is happy to announce today the release of a new entry-level projector, the TW556-3D. This device is capable of displaying 2800 ANSI lumens, a 100000:1 contrast ratio, and WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. The device has also been fitted with 3D technology and the company’s new Eco+ technology. Optoma has included a diverse connection panel that has an HDMi, dual VGA ports, an s-video, composite, and several audio ports. The Eco+ technology is designed to significantly reduce the energy consumption below the normal Eco mode, but still be able to provide amazing image quality. The TW556-3D is expected to release soon. However, the company did not release a retail price yet.

Earlier today, Canon unveiled new REALiS projectors. Canon has also unveiled today their European counterparts, the XEED WX6000 and XEED SX6000. The REALiS collection is exclusive only to the USA, while the XEED is available in Europe and Asia. There are no real differences between the two series otherwise. The WX6000 features 5700 ANSI lumens and a WXGA+ (1440 x 900) resolution, while the SX6000 comes with 6000 ANSI lumens and a SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) resolution. Both projectors have a 1000:1 contrast ratio and the new AISYS technology in order to enhance the LCoS panels. Optoma is proud to announce two new projectors coming soon called the TW631-3D and TX631-3D. Both projectors use the latest in DLP display technology, 3500 ANSI lumens and a 10000:1 contrast ratio. The major difference between the two projectors is that the TW631 includes WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, while the TX631 has XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. Both projectors have been given 3D technology and are the latest to include Optoma’s Eco+ mode. The Eco+ mode technology is capable of monitoring the brightness of the environment and adjusts the projector’s brightness respectfully.
