The Samsung Focus Flash, the US version of the Samsung Omnia W, went on sale in USA last week.
The handset has now also become available unlocked at UK phone retailers.
Play.com is offering the phone for £339.99 (about €398 or $540) with free delivery included.
BuyMobilePhones.net has the device on pre-order on various pay monthly tariffs from O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone from as low as free on a £25 a month 18 month contract.
Expansys also has the device for pre-order for £329.99 whereas Clove is offering it for £358.80 including VAT.

A Samsung executive told Bloomberg on Wednesday that the Korean based manufacturer will ship its new Windows 8 tablet sometime in the second half of next year, giving us a clue as to when Windows 8 might be launched. The tablet itself will look familiar as it will be an updated version of the currently available Series 7 device that uses Windows 7. Samsung Galaxy Nexus shipping delayed by Amazon UK

We are still waiting for proper information about the release dates, locations and carriers for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and in some bad news it seems that Amazon UK has delayed the shipping date of the phone to December 2nd.
This obviously doesn't indicate a wider delay with the Galaxy Nexus, but it certainly isn't good news. The pre-order page for the Galaxy Nexus on Amazon UK has recently changed the shipping date of the phone to December 2nd. O2 still has the release of the Galaxy Nexus listed as "Soon: November", so this may just be an issue with Amazon UK.

Sprint has announced that the long-awaited Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Samsung Epic 4G will be pushed to users starting today. Users should get a notification on their phones when the update is ready to be downloaded and installed.

Yep, we’ve told you Vodafone will be one of the British mobile operators to offer the brand new Galaxy Nexus and voila… the first Ice Cream Sandwich device got its page at the Big Red carrier’s website. Unfortunately, it’s the standard “Coming Soon” page that doesn’t reveals any details like let’s say the price, but you can leave your email and be among the first ones to get that information once the phone becomes available.

The Samsung Galaxy S II and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich? To us that sounds like a killer combination, but while others would probably have to wait until early 2012 when Samsung is expected to roll out the ICS update, you can have it now if you dare flash the MIUI ROM on your S II.
The crafty developers behind one of the most popular mods for Android, have brought ICS, but it's not exactly in its vanilla form. You'd still get MIUI's signature looks and customization and not the neon glow of Android 4.0, so while you lose the UI elements, the functionality is there.

The Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus is an Android tablet that we are already familiar with. Announced a little over a month ago, the slate is meant to succeed the old-school GALAXY Tab, which brought the 7-inch tablet form factor to the mainstream. However, what we didn't know so far was whether any major carrier would be willing to add the 7.0 Plus to its lineup, but some light has just been shed on that matter as well.
T-Mobile just announced that it is going to offer the Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus beginning November 16. The tablet will be available for $249 after rebate and will come along with a 2-year Value Mobile Broadband plan attached to it.

Microsoft taps Samsung VP Gavin Kim to be new Windows Phone GM

The last Windows Phone General Manager, Charlie Kindel, may have been a longtime Microsoft vet, but the company's looked beyond Redmond for his permanent replacement. As BGR reports, Microsoft has snagged Samsung's VP of of consumer and enterprise services, Gavin Kim, to lead the Windows Phone product team. It looks like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is going to hit shelves a lot sooner then we all thought. A leaked Verizon road map suggests a November 21 “web only” launch date for the next big Android handset. This news comes after reports first suggested a launch on the 10th then that date switched to a Nov. 17 launch. Rumor after rumor seems to come almost daily, as Verizon keeps pushing the actual release date all over the place.

A "work in progress" doc from Verizon's system had been snapped, and it indicates that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus might be hitting the channels November 17, with in-store marketing commencing two days earlier.
Now the guy that sent it warns that this is still not final: "been told the document pictured is a work in progress that will be sent out next week to all retail stores/partners along with promotional materials such as posters and flyers", but let's hope that the wording of the launch memo is work in progress, not the date itself.
Makes perfect sense to us, considering worldwide (well, European) launch scheduled for the same date, so, bring it on, Verizon, don't wait for those crazy days...

WPCentral managed to collect together 3 of the new Windows Phone 7.5 offerings coming to USA this quarter.
In the above video they compare the newly releases Samsung Focus S with the HTC Titan, which will soon arrive on AT&T and the HTC Radar, already available on T-Mobile USA.
Interestingly, despite the Samsung Focus S being slim, sleek and with a great screen, the other handsets do seem able to hold their own, especially in the screen stakes.

Samsung has made the Galaxy Nexus UK release date of 17 November official, after Amazon outed the same date in late October.
It's only taken Samsung a week to get around to telling us something we already knew, but it's always nice to make these things official.
So come 17 November, you'll be able to pick up the first Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) handset, which comes featuring a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 5MP camera and a waist-size of just 8.94mm.
