Summer is looking to be a scorcher, but if the reports about Google’s Nexus branded tablet surely turns out to be true, we can potentially see it come to market as soon as July. Come to think about it, that’s not too far off at this point, as we’re nearing the start of the summer season.

From what’s being reported, it seems that the 7-inch Google Nexus tablet will ship in June with an estimated initial volume of 600,000 units. Previously believed to launch in May, it seems that the date was pushed back due to unsatisfactory marks regarding its design. Furthermore, the cost attached to it was simply too much to swallow for a device expected to flaunt a price point as low as $199. Hence the r...

Android malware is increasingly becoming a concern for users, but a team of researchers at North Carolina State University is hoping to help fight the problem by understanding it better. Lead by assistant professor Xuxian Jiang, the Android Malware Genome Project is collecting samples of Android malware in order to categorize them and release the code to other researchers.
