Back in May, Acer unveiled their new home theater projector, the H536BD. This display can display HD (1280 x 720) resolution, a 3200:1 contrast ratio, and 2000 ANSI lumens. Today, the company announced that this projector is finally available to the consumer market. This model is one of Acer’s first 3D projectors and has been equipped with a 120 Hz processor in order to produce smooth 3D video. BenQ Unveils MX850UST Projector

BenQ has recently announced that they will be releasing soon their first DLP projector to feature the company’s energy-saving Smart Eco Mode technology. The model is the MX850UST and unfortunately the only specifications known is that it comes with a 13000:1 contrast ratio and DLP display technology. The Smart Eco Mode technology automatically calculates the optimum lamp power needed for the best contrast performance. It does this with the help of a light sensor and measures the ambient light in the room. Projectiondesign is proud to announce today that their F35 wqxga projector won the “Most Innovative Install-Grade projector” award at InfoComm last week. The projector is capable of displaying 6500 ANSI lumens, an 8000:1 contrast ratio, and WQXGA (2560 x 1600) resolution. The projector is one of the company’s top models in the series. The award was given to Projectiondesign’s Anders Lokke the day before the convention begun.

Hitachi Releases CP-X2514WN Projector

Hitachi announced recently the release of their latest medium-sized projector, the CP-X2514WN. This projector is designed for boardrooms and classroom and can display 2700 ANSI lumens, a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. One of the main features with this model though is that it has wireless capabilities. This means that the projector can be mounted onto the ceiling and the user won’t have to run cables in order to connect it to a laptop or PC.

Sharp is proud to announce recently that two new additions to their SV projector series will be coming soon, the XG-SV100W and XG-SV200X. This single-chip DLP projector is capable of displaying 6000 ANSI lumens, a 1300:1 contrast ratio, and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution.
