BenQ has recently announced that they will be releasing soon their first DLP projector to feature the company’s energy-saving Smart Eco Mode technology. The model is the MX850UST and unfortunately the only specifications known is that it comes with a 13000:1 contrast ratio and DLP display technology. The Smart Eco Mode technology automatically calculates the optimum lamp power needed for the best contrast performance. Hitachi announced recently the release of their latest medium-sized projector, the CP-X2514WN. This projector is designed for boardrooms and classroom and can display 2700 ANSI lumens, a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. One of the main features with this model though is that it has wireless capabilities.
