We strongly suspect Mango will be rolling out next week in USA, but if you have been waiting for the update before buying an HTC Arrive it seems you could walk into a Sprint store right now, as another one running Mango just turned up there.

HTC has officially announced the Raider 4G in Korea. The LTE-enabled device, which will be available through AT&T as HTC Holiday, rocks a huge 4.5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) touchscreen, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash on the back, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, 16GB of built-in storage, GPS and other “standard for a high-end Android smartphone” goodies. U.S. Cellular's HTC Hero S pictured alongside Motorola Electrify
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCMotorolaEVO Design 4GPHOTON 4G
Aside from the Motorola Electrify, U.S. Cellular will be adding another Android smartphone to its offering in the next couple of days (or weeks). It’s the HTC Hero S, which as far as we see is the carrier’s version of the Kingdom (EVO Design 4G). If that’s true (and we think it is), expect a device with specs that include a single-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, 4-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) display, 5-megapixel camera on the back, front-facing VGA camera (for video calls), GPS, 3G and Wi-Fi data, Bluetooth and so on.

Ever since the HTC Radar got officially announced, plenty of evidence has been popping on the web showing that the smartphone is bound to go on sale in the UK. On the other hand, whether it would ever make it across the Atlantic has been a question with no definite answer so far.

O2's HTC Sensation gets Android 2.3.4 update, too
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesOperating SystemsHTCGoogleAndroid 2.3Sensation 4G
Not sure what was “wrong” with O2′s version of the HTC Sensation when the carrier decided to delay the Android 2.3.4 update thus far. I guess they wanted to test it out thoroughly prior to releasing the new software to the general public…

HTC Ruby’s first press shot leaks
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCAmaze 4G
The first press shot has leaked of the HTC Ruby, which is expected to become the HTC Amaze on T-Mobile sometime later this year. We’ve already seen plenty of leaked images of the device in the wild, including a version in black and even an image of the back sides of the device revealed in the reflection of a tablet screen, so there’s not too much here that’s new.
But it is the clearest full-frontal image of the device and its leak signals an imminent launch, although we still don’t have any dates confirmed. The HTC Ruby or the HTC Amaze 4G, as it will likely be called at launch, will be a powerful device for T-Mobile, featuring a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM.
The handset will al...

4G variant of HTC's Radar spotted in the wild, flying a magenta flag
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCRadar
The Radar's arrival in this world was overshadowed by the massive Titan released on the same day. But if a batch of spy shots sent to TmoNews is to be believed, then this mid-specced 3.8-inch Windows Phone could be about to get some much needed 4G pep on T-Mobile's network. The photos also reveal plenty of magenta branding, Tango video calling and of course Mango running under the hood. Further corroboration probably won't come til we detect an HSPA+ Radar at the FCC, but with some decent 6/7Mbps real-world download speeds and hopefully some mobile hotspot action this could well be a device worth having.

HTC Raider 4G arrives bearing South Korean LTE, looks a lot like the Holiday
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTC
HTC has bestowed a sparkly new handset upon its South Korean customers today, with the release of the Raider 4G. Sporting a 4.5-inch qHD display, this Gingerbread-coated device is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and boasts 1GB of RAM, along with 16GB of internal storage. Graced with what appears to be HTC's Sense 3.0, the Raider also features an eight megapixel camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing shooter and supports 1080p Full HD video recording, as well as the usual smattering of WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS capabilities. When connected to a South Korean LTE network, this handset can reportedly achieve downstream / upstream speeds of 100Mbps and 50Mbps uploads, respectively, wi...

HTC Rhyme official: 3G, 3.7-inch display, single-core CPU, headed to Verizon for $199 on contract
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCVerizon WirelessRhyme
Well, well. Looks like those leaked press shots (and hands-on photos and video walk-through) were on the money. HTC just officially announced the Rhyme -- that womanly handset otherwise known as the Bliss. As it happens, HTC isn't explicitly marketing this as a lady phone, though it bears all the markers of a device pandering toward those of us with XX chromosomes. Which is to say, it's petite and purple with middling specs. What you're looking at is a handset with a 3.7-inch WVGA display, a single-core 1GHz Qualcomm CPU, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage space, a non-removable battery, microSD expansion slot, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS radios and dual 5MP / VGA cameras. The phone runs Andr...

HTC Explorer first press shot surfaces
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCExplorer
The HTC Explorer, also known as the HTC Pico, is a tiny little Android phone poised to become one of the most affordable HTC smartphones to date. With a small 3.2-inch HVGA 320 x 480 pixel screen, a humble 600MHz processor, 384MB of RAM and a five megapixel rear camera the Explorer will fit somewhere around the HTC Wildfire S in the company’s lineup.
Of course, it targets budget-savvy users and if you ask us might launch for the sweet price of zero when purchased with a two year contract. On the software side, it runs Android Gingerbread spiced up with HTC’s latest Sense UI 3.5.
The HTC Explorer might arrive as soon as today at HTC’s NYC event, but we’d rather put our bets on the event bring...

Telstra won't be Gingerbreading the HTC Desire after all
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesOperating SystemsHTCGoogleDesireAndroid 2.3
If you're on Australia's Telstra network and you're still clinging to hope of an OTA Gingerbread update for your beloved HTC Desire, then now it's officially time to let go. For a while it looked like Telstra might opt for a smart workaround to the old handset's lack of memory, but now the operator's update page makes it clear that it has fallen in line with the wider HTC stance: Android 2.3 just isn't viable on this device, unless you're prepared to go off-piste with the developer build or an unofficial ROM.

HTC Vigor first press shots spotted, may arrive as HTC Droid Incredible HD
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCRezound
It’s been raining leaked photos of HTC phones and now the first press shots of the HTC Vigor have surfaced. The Vigor is rumored to be the next HTC flagship and is projected to sport a 4.3-inch screen with an impressive resolution. It’s also to be among the very first offerings coming with Beats Audio. Judging by the rest of the leaked images, it seems that HTC is gearing up for a massive announcement on September 20th, probably including the 4.7-inch HTC Runnymede.
Spec-wise, the HTC Vigor is said to come with a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of the whopping 720 x 1280 pixels, while under the hood a dual-core 1.5GHz processor makes the Vigor tick. The handset is LTE-enabled and is expec...

HTC Titan and HTC Radar expected to be available 4th October in Netherlands
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCTitanRadar
The first of the next wave of Windows Phone 7.5 handsets is set to hit the west very soon, with the HTC Titan and HTC Radar expected to reach stores on the 4th of October, a mere 2 weeks from now, in the Netherlands.
The high-specced HTC Titan will be a steep 559 Euro at Smartphoneshop.nl and the more mid-range HTC Radar 369 Euro.
Having used an HTC Trophy for around a year now, and never feeling disadvantages compared to the HTC HD7, I do wonder if the HTC Titan is worth the extra expense over the HTC Radar. What do our readers think? Let us know below.

HTC Vigor leaks in first press shot
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCRezound
The first press shot of the much anticipated HTC Vigor has leaked. The handset has been rumored as HTC’s next flagship phone and could be one of the first to offer Beats Audio technology. This leak follows several others, including the press shot for the HTC Bliss as well as some spec sheets on the Bliss and the Runnymede. Perhaps more details will continue to surface as we get closer to HTC’s press event on September 20, when the company is expected to unveil these devices.
The HTC Vigor is believed to feature a 4.3-inch 720p HD display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and an 8-megapixel ...
