Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCHoliday
The first LTE enabled handset expected to be available for AT&T will supposedly be the HTC Holiday. But when not getting ready to offer fast data speeds to the few AT&T customers who have access to the carrier's LTE pipeline, the phone will go by the name of the HTC Raider 4G LTE up in Canada for Bell. Designated for the Canadian mobile operator's Superphone category, the device will cost you $169.95 with the customary signed three-year contract up north. Without a contract, the price tag is a hefty $499.95. No launch date has been mentioned.
Bell's LTE network supports the phone and when out of coverage area, the HTC Raider 4G LTE will drop back to the HSPA+ 42Mbps network. The device itsel...

HTC Holiday visits FCC for AT&T 4G LTE
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCAT&THoliday
The HTC Holiday is expected to be AT&T’s first 4G LTE smartphone and the device has just passed through the FCC, signaling an imminent launch. Earlier this month, the handset was caught being tested on AT&T’s 4G LTE network with speeds reaching 29Mbps, faster than typical Verizon 4G LTE speeds. However, that was without real load on the network, which AT&T only plans to deploy in about 25 markets by year-end.

All said, you could think of it as the Sensation on steroids, with more RAM and a faster CPU.

HTC Holiday running on AT&T's 4G LTE network photographed

BGR has obtained photographs of the still-unannounced HTC Holiday Android phone, which may be AT&T’s first 4G LTE-enabled smartphone. We were also shown the results of LTE speed tests taken on the HTC Holiday in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas, and from what we saw, they topped out at an incomprehensible 29Mbps — far faster than the fastest speeds we have seen on Verizon’s 4G LTE network. Of course AT&T’s 4G LTE network is basically empty right now since it hasn’t yet officially launched, but we definitely like what we’re seeing so far. As far as the HTC Holiday hardware goes, previously reported spec highlights include Android 2.3.4, a 4.5-inch qHD display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8...

Looks like AT&T's fall lineup will include at least one slab of irresistible. The so-called HTC Holiday is indeed real, and it'll soon be gracing Ma Bell's airwaves -- and not just the HSPA+ ones, either. We've confirmed that the Holiday will be amongst the first handsets to launch in AT&T's LTE markets, bringing with it a rather gargantuan frame, a 4.5-inch qHD touchpanel, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of memory, an 8 megapixel rear camera (with flash), 1.3 megapixel front-facing shooter, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and a foursome of capacitive touch buttons below the panel. Software wise, it'll ship with Android 2.3.4 and HTC Sense 3.0, and while we haven't been able to nail it down ...
