If you’re thinking about buying the HTC Radar from T-Mobile today, you might want to check the internet for some better prices first.
Wirefly.com has the HTC Radar for only $49.99 with a new or renewed 2-year contract from T-Mobile, and that includes free shipping!
Through T-Mobile, you would pay $149.99 with a 2-year contract, and then have to hassle with a $50 mail-in rebate which only brings the price down to $99.99. Frankly, $49.99 is the most I would pay for a phone with only 8 GB of storage space.

DVD Streaming Company Zediva Ordered to Close For Good

DVD Streaming Company Zediva Ordered to Close For Good

Posted on Nov 02, 2011 by MG1

Zediva thought it had things all figured out. Allow users to rent a DVD player in a data center someplace with a hot new release movie in the slot, then stream them the output from the DVD player. Zediva claimed that was no different than the consumer renting the disc themselves. The courts didn’t agree and have now upheld a preliminary injunction and shut Zediva down for good. The company has also been ordered to pay the MPAA $1.8 million.
The judge in the case ruled on Friday that Zediva had not, in fact, found a loophole in copyright law that would allow them to stream any film in existence. Zediva never acquired streaming licenses, which Hollywood is famously reluctant to issue. By skipp...

According to ITPro, David Cameron spoke about web freedoms at the London Conference on Cyberspace, saying, "Governments mustn't use cyber security as an excuse for censorship… Government doesn't own the internet, Government does not shape the internet."
Hague also pontificated on the dangers of 'the heavy hand' of state censorship, arguing that 'stifling' internet access will only lead to a 'fragmented and ghettoised' web.
