Acer has announced two new products that will launch today and can convert your 2D content to 3D for you to enjoy. The products are the HR274H 3D computer display and the new H9500BD projector. The new display has a cool Acer chip-based 3D conversion solution to turn 2D into 3D with no software required. The display also uses passive polarized glasses that are much cheaper than active 3D glasses.

Sanyo Releases PLC-HP7000L Projector

Earlier in the year, Sanyo unveiled one of their brighter projectors, the PLC-HP7000L. Today, it was announced that this projector is now available on the consumer market. The HP7000L features 7000 ANSI lumens, 2700:1 contrast ratio, and a full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The projector was designed for large venue applications and is able to be transported between events. The 7000 ANSI lumens allow the projector to be used in any environment, even outdoor use. Accompanying the projector is a wide array of option lenses that were designed to help increase the projector’s versatility. The HP7000L is available now and retails for just under $20000.

Optoma is proud to announce today the release of their latest addition to their PlayTime series, the PT105. This device is the latest pocket projector from Optoma and comes with 75 ANSI lumens, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and WVGA (854 x 480) resolution. While these specifications are not terribly great, it does provide a suitable option for travel or to carry between rooms and to a friend’s place. Acer's DLP USB pico-projector, the C110 is now shipping in the US (for $199). The C110 is a USB projector - which gets both power and data from the USB port (it needs a laptop to connect to). It's a WVGA (854x480) DLP projector that weights 175 grams and measures just 110x85x25 mm. It can project images from 12" to 100". It's been shipping in the UK for £162 ($260) for a few months now.
