Boxee 1.5 nears release, will be final desktop version

Boxee 1.5 nears release, will be final desktop version

Posted on Dec 27, 2011 by MG1

We have some good news and bad news. The good news is: Boxee 1.5 will be entering public beta soon, with a proper release scheduled for January alongside Live TV. Boxee Box live TV integration revealed in unreleased Boxee 1.5 update

Boxee Box live TV integration revealed in unreleased Boxee 1.5 update

Posted on Nov 09, 2011 by MG1

GigaOm was unable to receive any channels with an EyeTV One TV tuner, so it might only be compatible with an official Live TV dongle we can only assume would be released soon after the update. Although it's doubtful this will work with your paid cable ser...

Users can navigate the SlingPlayer UI directly from the Boxee remote, enabling playback control and access to channel listings. The company has maintained a similar interface across the entire range of SlingPlayer apps.
