BenQ W1200 Projector Gets Reduced Price

The BenQ W1200 projector is one of the company’s new home theater projectors this year. Today, it was discovered that the device has received a price cut. Originally, the projector retails for about $1499, but now it can be found for just under $1000. The W1200 is capable of displaying 1800 ANSI lumens, a 5000:1 contrast ratio, and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. It is also one of the first projectors from BenQ to feature 3D technology. The projector is light and easy to install and setup. It comes with a diverse connection panel that includes dual HDMI ports, a RGB, component, s-video, and a composite connection. There are also dual 10 watt speakers to provide suitable sound quality.

Mitsubishi has announced today a new promotion that will be extended to several of their latest projectors. The free lamp promotion will run until December 31st 2011 and will provide anyone who purchases one of the acceptable projectors with a second projector lamp. Optoma Releases HD33 and HD83 Projectors in UK

Optoma announced today two new HD projectors that are being released in the UK. The HD33 and HD83 share the same DLP display technology as well as full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and 3D technology. The HD33 also comes with 1800 ANSI lumens and a 4000:1 contrast ratio, while the HD83 comes with 1500 ANSI lumens and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. Optoma has included a variety of feature for both projectors. Among them is the PureD technology that optimizes the projector configuration brightness and image quality. Optoma has not released a retail price yet for these models.

Christie is happy to announce the release of their latest large venue projectors, the LX1200 and LHD700 projectors. The company unveiled these two back in September. The LHD700 is capable of displaying 7000 ANSI lumens, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. Today, the company announced the release of two new projectors that have joined their IN5300 series. The models include the IN5316HD and the IN5318. BenQ is proud to announce today the release of their first home theater projector that comes with 3D technology and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The W7000 also comes with 2000 ANSI lumens and a 50000:1 contrast ratio. BenQ is also stating that the W7000 is also the world’s first to receive the TUV Rheinland 3D full HD Certification. The projector has been given dual HDMI ports as well as a component, s-video, and a composite port for good measure. The models are the “Ultra” versions of existing projectors and include the D-73d Ultra, LS-HB Ultra, Q-750d Ultra, and the Q-1500d Ultra. Panasonic announced recently the release of three new projectors that are ideal for traveling and office use. The models include the PT-LW25H, PT-LX30H, and the PT-LX26H. The most powerful model out of the trio is the LW25H, which features 2500 ANSI lumens, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution.
