ViewSonic is a global provider of computing, consumer electronics and communications solutions. Today, the company announced a new projector coming to Europe called the Pro6200. This home theater projector is capable of displaying 2700 ANSI lumens, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and 720p HD (1280 x 720) resolution. The device is light enough to travel on family trips, or be easily installed into any home theater room. ViewSonic has also included a wide array of screen adjustment features to add flexibility during setup. Key features include keystone correction, an eco mode with a 6000 hour lamp life, and a 5 watt speaker system. The Pro6200 is expected to release in June for €559 ($697).

Today, the company announced that this projector is now available in Europe. Projectiondesign has recently announced that they were proud to be selected to provide their new FL35 wqxga projectors to the British Airways. The projectors will be used to upgrade a fifth full-flight training simulator using the manufacturer’s latest ReaLED projector. Mitsubishi Unveils 7000 Series Projectors

Mitsubishi announced today that they have officially released their new 7000 Series of projectors. The series includes 5 new projectors, including the XL7000U, XL7100U, WL7050U, WL7200U, and the UL7400U. These projectors range in brightness between 4700 and 6000 ANSI lumens as well as comes with a 2000:1 contrast ratio. The XL models include a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, while the WL models have a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. The UL7400U is impressive with a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution. The projectors will be on display at the ISE 2012 trade fair. Retail prices have not been announced yet but they are available to order now in Europe.

AAXA Technologies Releases P4 Wi-Fi Projector

AAXA Technologies is happy to announce another projector that has been released from their P4 series. The P4 Wi-Fi features the same WVGA (858 x 480) resolution and a 2000:1 contrast ratio and the other projectors in the series. It also includes 100 ANSI lumens. The other big feature is that it includes Windows CE software and on board Wi-Fi capabilities. The projector uses RGB LED lamps that can last up to 15000 hours. The projector has all the mobile features like a 2GB internal memory, SD card slot, and an internal battery. The P4 Wi-Fi will include a remote control with a QWERTY keyboard. The projector is available for ordering now and retails for $399.

ViewSonic Pro8300 Projector Released

ViewSonic has a new business room projector coming soon called the Pro8300. This device is capable of displaying 3000 ANSI lumens, a 4000:1 contrast ratio, and HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The projector has been given an array of screen adjustment features and setup will be easy and quick. The connection panel includes dual HDMI and RGB ports, a composite, s-video, USB, and a component input. There are also several audio ports and dual 10W speakers in order to fill the room with sound. ViewSonic has launched the PLED-W200 projector in Europe. It can display a 40-inch screen within a four-foot projection distance, weighs less than a pound, and is smaller than three stacked DVD cases.
The projector can display 1280x800 WXGA resolution images, with 720p support, and can take SD cards as an alternative media source. The LED light source helps provide a contrast ratio of 2000:1 and 250 lumens of brightness with a lifespan of more than 20,000 hours.

Update gives Sony projectors better 3D capability

Sony announced Tuesday that all owners of its Digital Cinema 4K products will be able to apply a software upgrade to their projectors that will improve the frame rate for video playback. The upgrade will improve image quality both in 2D and 3D content, raising the maximum frame rate from the standard 24 frames per second (FPS) to 48FPS for 2D content and 60FPS for 3D content.
