Everyone is really hoping that Apple will release their first HDTV this year. But if Apple is not satisfied with their product it will never be released. Today, an anonymous Apple employee tipped the news that Apple has been having “problems” securing the deals they want in order to provide the content they want to give the consumers. The tip helps confirm that Apple is developing their own set of HDTVs, but doesn’t help tell when these sets will be unveiled to the public. The other major tip this worker gave was that one of the TVs measures 50 inches, diagonally, which is bigger than previously predicted.

What do you get when you take four of the fastest single-GPU graphics cards on the market, add a little liquid nitrogen, connect them to two 1,200W power supplies, and crank them to 1.6GHz each? The answer is Andre's monstrous "quad seventy-nine seventy" rig, pictured above. The AMD Radeon HD 7970 cards already feature an impressive clock speed of 925 MHz, and while AMD has said they can be pushed safely over 1GHz, overclocking them by almost 75 percent will get you some truly staggering benchmark performance.

"I delayed 3.2 first a few days to wait for the final linux-next ("final" in the sense that that's what I'll fetch to decide whether something has been in linux-next for 3.3 or not), and then some more as people were coming back from holidays and sorting out some regressions," Torvalds wrote in the announcement.
"So we do have a few last-minute reverts and small fixes. Still, there's not a whole lot of changes since -rc7 (shortlog appended), and almost all of them are *tiny*. So despite the few annoying last-minute reverts, I'm feeling pretty happy about it," he wrote.
