Canon is a leader in digital imaging solutions. Today, the company announced that they will have two new projectors to their REALiS series very soon. The REALiS WUX5000 and WUX5000 D are almost identical in design. They both feature 5000 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. They also have been fitted Canon’s fourth-generation AISYS (Aspectual Illumination System) optical technology that helps enhance the capabilities of the LCoS display chips. BenQ announced today that they have released two new educational projectors, the LX60ST and LW61ST. Both models are capable of displaying 2000 ANSI lumens, and an 80000:1 contrast ratio. The main difference is that the LX60ST has a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, while the LW61ST has a native WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. What makes these projectors special is that they are the first from BenQ to use a laser-based light source. Today, the company is happy to announce that they will be adding interactive capabilities to their newest short throw projector, the TW610STi. This device is capable of displaying WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, 3100 ANSI lumens, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. Optoma will be fitting the projector with new PointBlank technology that will allow the projector to be interactive without having to purchase additional equipment. The company plans to unveil several new products including a pair of new educational projectors, the PT-CW230 and PT-CX200. This device is the latest addition to the Lightstyle series and comes with full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a 10000:1 contrast ratio, and 2100 ANSI lumens. ViewSonic Announces LED Hybrid Projector Coming to ISE 2012

ViewSonic will be displaying new projectors at ISE 2012 this year. Among them will be the company’s first laser hybrid LED projector. The name of this device wasn’t unveiled but it will be able to display full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and 1200 ANSI lumens. The projector uses a combination of lasers and LED lamps in order to create the hybrid lamp. ViewSonic is proud to announce that this projector will be the first hybrid projector that is specifically designed for home theater use. Currently the only other company to use these lamps is Casio. Mitsubishi unveiled today two new short throw projectors to their educational lineup, the WD385U-EST and XD365U-EST. Both projectors use the latest in DLP display technology and come with 3000:1 contrast ratio. The WD385U comes with 2800 ANSI lumens and a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, while the XD365U comes with 2500 ANSI lumens and a XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. Epson is happy to announce today a brand new educational projector called the PowerLite 93+. This device is powerful and budget friendly. It comes with a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and 2600 ANSI lumens, which is 200 more than its predecessor. Other major features will include a 16 watt speaker, screen adjustment features, Plug ‘n Play, and more. The projector has also been loaded with programs that are designed to help teachers with their lessons. Epson is looking to release the 93+ in March for just under $700.

Epson is proud to announce today four new projectors that will be coming out next month. The models include the PowerLite 470, 475W, 480, and 485W. This collection of projectors is designed for the grade school education industry and come with short throw distances and high brightness levels. The 470 and 475W both come with 2600 ANSI lumens, while the 480 comes with 3000 ANSI lumens and the 485W comes with 3100 ANSI lumens. Optoma is pleased to announce the launch of their latest ultra-portable projector, the ML300. Not quite a pico projector, but definitely smaller than the typical portable projector. It comes with LED lamps that can display 300 ANSI lumens, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. Today it was unveiled that Epson has released a new business projector called the EB-X11. This device is capable of displaying 2600 ANSI lumens, XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. Epson has loaded the projector with features, including keystone adjustment, Plug ‘n Play, and a wide array of connection options. The connection panel includes RGB, composite, s-video, component, and a USB port. Epson has not announced a retail price yet, but it is available for consumers through certified retailers.
