All white Samsung Galaxy Tabs emerge in Vietnam

All white Samsung Galaxy Tabs emerge in Vietnam

Posted on Jan 14, 2012 by MG1

Samsung has released white versions of several of the company’s mobile devices lately. While the back of the various devices would be white, the front bezel around the screen typically remained black — that is, until now. It would appear that Samsung has been working on a white bezel to integrate into the company’s future milky-colored devices; a white Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus have emerged in Vietnam and feature truly all white design. The specs of the Tab 10.1 and Tab 7.0 Plus remain unchanged, reports claim. No pricing or availability details have been announced.

Samsung plans tweaked Galaxy Tab 7.0N to skirt Apple patent complaints

Samsung plans tweaked Galaxy Tab 7.0N to skirt Apple patent complaints

Posted on Jan 14, 2012 by MG1

Samsung is reportedly planning to launch a tweaked version of its Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus tablet in Germany. The Galaxy Tab 7.0N will likely offer many of the same features of the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus but with design changes that could help it avoid litigation from Apple. Apple and Samsung have been butting heads in courtrooms around the globe and Apple last year successfully banned Samsung’s local subsidiaries from selling the Galaxy Tab 10.1. As a result, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab 10.1N, which has also been the subject of ongoing patent litigation. The Galaxy Tab 7.0N is expected to cost about $770 without carrier subsidies.

Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus coming to T-Mobile on November 16

Posted on Nov 08, 2011 by MG1

The Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus is an Android tablet that we are already familiar with. Announced a little over a month ago, the slate is meant to succeed the old-school GALAXY Tab, which brought the 7-inch tablet form factor to the mainstream. However, what we didn't know so far was whether any major carrier would be willing to add the 7.0 Plus to its lineup, but some light has just been shed on that matter as well.
T-Mobile just announced that it is going to offer the Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus beginning November 16. The tablet will be available for $249 after rebate and will come along with a 2-year Value Mobile Broadband plan attached to it.
So, what exactly do you get for your money? W...

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus goes on pre-order

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus goes on pre-order

Posted on Oct 21, 2011 by MG1

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has shown up on Amazon for pre-order. Unfortunately, there is still no exact release date given for the tab, and the pricing puts it in a weird range.
The rumor has been that the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus would be coming to the US, and not the Tab 7.7, and the Tab 7.0 Plus is certainly aiming for a more budget-conscious consumer. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has been listed on Amazon at $399 for the 16 GB model, and $499 for the 32 GB model. That's about where we would expect the prices to hit, especially given that Samsung is looking to turn a profit on this hardware, unlike Amazon with its $199 Kindle Fire, which will be a loss-leader to get people into Amazon's vario...

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus to cost 499 EUR in Europe

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus to cost 499 EUR in Europe

Posted on Oct 14, 2011 by MG1

When Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, it forgot to mention how much it will cost. Thanks to Netbook.it we now know how much the Korean company will ask for the brand new tablet in Italy – 499 EUR. That’s not that bad for a device as capable as the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, which as you probably know builds on the success of Sammy’s original Galaxy Tab product. However, under the hood it’s a completely different beast with specs that include a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, HSPA+ and Wi-Fi connectivity, 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, the same 7-inch 1024×600 pixels capacitive touchscreen, while Android Honeycomb 3.2 is running t...

Samsung Gives Portability Another Try with Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus

Samsung Gives Portability Another Try with Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus

Posted on Oct 03, 2011 by MG3

The original 7-inch Galaxy Tab wasn't all that impressive. It was a premature release with an inadequate SoC running a version of Android intended for smartphones, not tablets. Since then Samsung has put forth some of the most impressive Honeycomb based tablet designs with its Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9. Today, Samsung is expanding the lineup to include a new 7-inch tablet: the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.
