The Oman Observer reports that Nokia’s Lumia series with Arabic support would be rolling out to the small middle-eastern country in Q3 2012.
“The Lumia series of smart phones built on the Microsoft Windows platform will hit the Omani market soon”, Dr Manmohan Singh Rehsi, Director, Computers, Office Automation and Telecommunication division of Mohsin Haider Darwish LLC told the Observer.

New images of a Nokia Lumia 800 handset running on wpbench revealed a list of Greek names for what we can only assume are codenames for upcoming Windows Phone-powered Nokia handsets. Shared by the My Nokia Blog, the images came from a user running the Windows Phone 7 benchmark on his Lumia 800. The names include Nokia PureLambda, Nokia Phi, Nokia Pure Phi and Nokia Alpha.

This launch will have the Nokia Lumia 610 set up to cost £15 per month and will come in a variety of colors as well. Rounding off a busy day of shooting with Nokia's new imaging mistress, the company's Vesa Jutila, Head of Symbian Product Marketing, hooked us up with some more developments for the 808 PureView, specifically to do with NFC. He told us that picture sharing would be possible across devices -- not limiting itself to fellow PureView smartphones, and differentiating it from another hotly anticipated future smartphone. We'd err against using it on those full 38- or 34-megapixel images though, as they will often measure over 10MB and it could take some time. Nokia’s Symbian sales have plunged last quarter significantly, and now Nokia Italy has revealed that Symbian Carla, the third major update after Symbian Anna and Nokia Belle, is cancelled. Nokia Lumia 610 pre-orders start in Russia

Online store Svyaznoy.ru has opened pre-order for Nokia Lumia 610 .
The handset is starting at somewhat of a high price – at 9990 Rubbles it is only 700 rubbles cheaper than the Nokia Lumia 710, which is of course a more capable handset. WP7Forum.ru expects the price to stabilize at around 7-8000 Rubbles eventually.
The handset will be available in Black, White and Blue. No release date has been announced yet.
