Garmin Revamps Entire Product Line for 2012
Like UnlikeFiled in: GPSGarmin
One of the most confusing things about Garmin’s existing GPS product lineup—and this criticism applies to the entire portable navigation device (PND) market, not just Garmin—is that there are dozens of devices with near-identical names and feature sets. Worse, as new ones come out, the old ones are still available in Best Buy, on Amazon, and in other stores, often at deep discounts. That throws the entire notion of which devices are considered budget, midrange, or high-end into disarray, and makes it difficult for consumers to figure out which PND to buy.
Garmin is finally taking a stab at fixing this problem with its new 2012 lineup of nüvi devices, which the company unveiled this morning....

A Sprint iPhone could sell 6 million units next year, says analyst
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesAppleiPhone 4s
Extrapolating from Verizon's 11% iPhone penetration since the iPhone 4 appeared in its portfolio, Gene Muster from Piper Jaffray concludes that the rumored appearance of the next iPhone on Sprint in October could net Cupertino 6 million units sold in 2012.
Granted, Verizon was all about Android until recently, and Sprint not so much, although it does carry the latest and greatest handsets with the green robot, so the number might be even larger than this 6 million iPhones prediction.
