Yes, there will come a time when the Motorola DROID BIONIC actually gets launched and you are going to go through some type of news withdrawal. It seems that there is something new happening with this device everyday except for the release of the official launch date and the official price of the long-awaited phone.
The latest news is that the Motorola DROID BIONIC has now been listed on Motorola's online store. Unfortunately, there is no button to click on to pre-order the device. By 2016, only 3% of smartphones won't have a touchscreen

According to research firm ABI, by 2016 a mere 3% of smartphones will be without a touchscreen. Of course, that means that if correct, the study expects 97% of all smartphones to have a touchscreen of some type aboard. Part of the credit for the success of touchscreens on smartphones has to go to the Apple iPhone. In 2006, the year before the launch of Apple's iconic device, only 7% of smartphones had a touchscreen and that figure rose to 75% by 2010. ABI says that the touchscreen together with 3G connectivity are both responsible for the huge growth in smartphone users.

Dramatically separating itself from the pack, the thunderous HTC ThunderBolt was recently reduced in priced to $0.01 on-contract thanks to Amazon, but it didn’t take long for its other siblings to make the drop as well.
Once again, Amazon is making it more affordable to own a Verizon 4G LTE smartphone now that they’ve lowered the price of the LG Revolution and Samsung Droid Charge to the easy to swallow price of a penny for new customers. Naturally, you’ll be required to sign off on a 2-year contract with the purchase – still, we’re sure that won’t be a problem for you.

Pantech Breakout breaks cover and appears to be yet another 4G LTE smartphone for Verizon

Pantech is surely revving things up with their handset offerings, especially now that they’re in the business of producing Android smartphones, but we’re getting our first look at what appears to be their upcoming LTE enabled device.
Looking at the leaked screenshot showing the Pantech Breakout for Verizon below, we’re given a small peek at the design of the handset, but more importantly, it’s showing support for 4G LTE connection. However, it’s unclear at this point if it’s the same device as the Pantech Apache, which was seen over at the FCC of late.

Looks like AT&T's fall lineup will include at least one slab of irresistible. The so-called HTC Holiday is indeed real, and it'll soon be gracing Ma Bell's airwaves -- and not just the HSPA+ ones, either. That's why it's applied for a patent that should improve the frustrating experience of using iOS's voice control -- precisely the kind of update we've been awaiting since Apple bought Siri last year. With the help of a technology billed as "User profiling for voice input processing," your device would identify your voice, check against a library of words associated with you without having to trawl through its entire dictionary. We just hope Apple doesn't do away with physical inputs entirely -- we'd hate to broadcast to the world all the guilty pleasures we have loaded on our iPods.

All three Samsung Galaxy S II variants for the US pose together in a leaked shot

With Hurricane Irene bent on making its way towards the Big Apple, where Samsung expects to hold a media event on Monday to disrobe the veil from its upcoming line of Galaxy S II smartphones, we’re getting our first look at them all.
In the leaked image below, we can plainly see the specific Samsung Galaxy S II variants coming to AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile – with Verizon obviously out of the mix. Looking at them, they don’t appear to drastically differ in design from the international version that’s been available for some time – albeit, they shed the physical home button found with the original. For the most part, the three handsets appear to have the same looking design on the surface.

Samsung reportedly confirms Nexus Prime

In an attempt to stop the spread of a leaked Nexus Prime firmware build, Samsung’s legal department appears to have confirmed both the existence of the phone and rumors that device was built by Samsung. “It has come to our attention that you are wrongfully in possession of, and intend to release or otherwise publicly disclose without Samsung’s consent, firmware for the Nexus Prime,” a letter obtained by Geek.com said. “The Nexus Prime firmware is the exclusive property of Samsung and/or its partners, suppliers and affiliates.” The letter is signed by Samsung’s General Counsel, Bryan Hopkins, though the source of the letter has removed the name. Nokia's Ovi Store now allows pushing wirelessly content to your phone

Nokia’s Ovi Store for Symbian apps is now powered by Nokia Drop, allowing you to wirelessly push apps, themes, ringtones and wallpapers to your handset. This basically brings a quick and easy way to install content on your device as you don’t have to deal with SMS confirmations or use any external plug-ins.
Turning auto installation of apps means that you won’t even need to confirm that you want to install new software on your phone. To benefit from it, you need to use Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome (sorry, Mac users, no Safari support). Nokia Drop is compatible with S60 5th Edition and Symbian^3 devices.

Nanapho.jp have uncovered more leaked Windows Phone 7.5 info.
This time, hidden in a guide for changing the language of the windowsphone.live.com/Home site to Japanese we see a screen shot of the WindowsPhone.com website which is not in fact live, and it shows several new features.
Firstly, it shows that users will be able to see their purchase history on the WindowsPhone.com website, and also re-install apps en masse from the site itself. It also shows that videos will now also be synched to SkyDrive and be playable from the WindowsPhone.com website. You can also get to your Office docs from the website directly.

X10 AirPad rocks 7-inch WVGA screen, $199 price tag

The Dark Forces Team and Orange Team have combined their forces and achieved the seemingly impossible – they have created a ROM for the HTC HD2 which can be updated normally like any other Windows Phone 7 handset over the Zune desktop client.
Beyond this the ROM also retains Root and ChevronWP7 status, meaning users are both free to edit the registry and side-load applications.
Lastly the ROM also allows custom packages to be side-loaded via Zune, making for the ultimate custom ROM machine.
