Archos has finally given a firm launch date and price for its G9 Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablets. Originally announced back in June, the G9 tablets feature dual-core processors clocked at up to 1.5GHz and internal storage of up to 250GB.
The Archos 80 G9, the smaller of the two tablets, will come in an 8GB version with a 1GHz processor. It will cost $299, and will be available for purchase from Archos on September 20. Other retailers will be added in October.
Upgraded versions of the 80 G9, with 1.5GHz processors and storage capacities of 16GB and 250GB, will hit shelves in October. They will cost $329 and $369 respectively. The larger 101 G9 will also be available in October in 16GB and 250GB... »read more
