HTC One V coming to the U.S. in the summer
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCOne V
CTIA may be starting tomorrow, but the news are already here! One interesting new piece is that the budget-centric solution in HTC's new One line, the One V, is going to arrive at U.S. soil this summer. Hooray!
Unfortunately, it isn't disclosed which carriers are going to welcome the One V in their line-ups, but we're being told that the device will become available through "a variety of partners". The HTC One V is a contemporary smartphone with great build quality and fine specs that won't break the bank.

HTC predicts 55 percent revenue jump, could hint at strong One sales

HTC's results for Q1 2012 were a long way short of spectacular, but they came too early to see any impact from sales of its latest wares -- particularly the flagship One X and the ambitious mid-range One S. According to Reuters, the Taiwanese manufacturer now predicts that its revenue will leap by 55 percent in Q2, compared to that bad last quarter. That kind of growth equates to around $3.56 billion, which isn't so impressive when you compare it to the same quarter last year, when turnover broke records and was around 20 percent higher, but it's still an encouraging sign that this company could reap what it sowed at MWC.

HTC One V coming to Canada on Bell, will reunite with One S
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCOne SOne V
Canadians looking to hunt down the smallest addition to HTC's One series are in luck. According to a MobileSyrup tipster, it'll arrive on Bell next week, in all its aluminum unibody glory. While the One X looks to be confined to Rogers in the Land of the Maple Leaf, both the One S and One V are going to be offered by Bell Mobility. The mole also hinted at pricing below CND $300, matching those entry-level credentials we've explored just recently. Not a fan of Bell? Don't get disheartened -- the Android 4.0 minnow will also make an appearance on Telus, so 'chin' up.

HTC One V launch date confirmed
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCOne V
If the HTC One X and One S are just a little bit out of your price range, then HTC has you covered with the One V. It’s not packing a lot of power in terms of specs, but the hardware and software experience aren’t too far removed from what you would get with the more expensive phones. Carphone Warehouse has just announced pricing and availability information for the One V in the UK.
You’ll be able to pre-order the HTC One V starting from today, with the handset being free on £20.50 a month tariffs. Carphone Warehouse will be offering the phone on O2, Orange, and Vodafone contracts, with tariffs naturally becoming more expensive if you want more minutes or data.

Did the HTC One V just pass through the FCC?
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCOne V
A mysterious HTC device just passed through the FCC, and it isn't clear exactly what the device is. There are only a few clues, but it looks like it could be the budget option of HTC's new One series of Android phones, the HTC One V.
The device that passed through the FCC was labeled as model PK76110, which hasn't been fully linked to any specific HTC device as yet. Luckily, HTC doesn't have a very large number of devices slated for release any time soon, so it seems likely that this is a member of the HTC One lineup of Android smartphones. The dimensions of the device in the filing and the radio bands (850MHz & 1900MHz) make it look like it may be the HTC One V.

HTC One V coming to Virgin Mobile?
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCOne V
The HTC One V is due to launch in the second quarter of this year, and when it does it'll be available on Virgin Mobile, according to Pocketnow. There's no official word from Virgin yet, but the site is also reporting that the smartphone will be available for under $200 — which fits in nicely with the One V's position as the budget option in HTC's One series of devices. Some might be disappointed that Virgin isn't looking to carry the higher-end One S or One X instead, but the One V is more fitting for Virgin's position as a budget player in Sprint's portfolio of brands. Be sure to check out our hands-on with the One V — which includes a 3.7-inch LCD display, a 1GHz processor, and Android 4....

HTC One V: The Legend resurrected
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesHTCOne V
Last – and maybe least – in HTC’s new portfolio of Android phones announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona today is the HTC One V, or the HTC Legend 2 in all but name.
Android fans will recall the first HTC Legend was launched at this very same expo two years ago, and turned heads with its marvellous design. Using a unibody design first pioneered by Apple in its MacBook Pro laptops, the machined aluminium premise translated perfectly to mobile. We called it an iPhone beater.

HTC Primo specs leaked; includes Android 4.0 and Beats Audio

The new fad in Android models seems to be smaller form factors with mid-to high end specs. Just the other day, we told you about the Sony Ericsson Kumquat, which fits into this mold. Now, thanks to a tipster for Stuff, we see low to mid range specs allegedly heading for the HTC Primo. With a 3.7 inch Super AMOLED display strengthened by Gorilla Glass and a dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm processor under the hood, the HTC Primo would have the muscles to get the job done. On board is 512MB of RAM and a 5MP camera on back that captures 720p video. The dual-shutter on the camera allows you to snap photos while taking video at the same time and the f/2.0 aperture should help you take decent pictures in l...
