it is a Great camera for those who knows how to use it

Ownership period: less than 1 year.
i own this camera it is great although i didn't figure out how to shoot raw images yet, and some features are way advanced than my needs, but got a good deal on it and i just love things to be perfect.

A Gateway Camera

Ownership period: less than 1 year.
This is truly a hybrid of the point-and-shoot and the DSLR. The auto functions produce fantastic and crisp photos. It also has enough manual functions to create custom shots that a point-and-shoot just can't match. The only beef I have is that when you want to create those custom shots you'll want the manual capabilities and lens options that DSLR's offer that the G10 doesn't. So, if you're a weekend pho-tog or trying to see if you could get into more custom photography, this is a less expensive start than going out and buying a DSLR. However, I have heard that many pro photographers who use the G10 as their point-and-shoot option.
