Just got one for my wife

I actually just picked up a Droid for $49 for my wife from Dell - crazy deal! I can finally get her off of the Moto Q9n Napolean / A4500 (yep, never released by VZW!) that I have had her using. This way I still have my Storm2 and now I can muck around with the Droid for her!

When I showed my wife the Google Sky Map she said, "Can I have one these phones for Mother's Day?" She's been using the original VZW G'Zone V MIL-SPEC phone for at least three years (it was required with our toddler daughter who thought the phone was teething toy that must be thrown down on the tile floor when she was caught with it).
So now that our daughter is not interested in Mommy's phone any more, my wife will get my DROID when I upgrade to the Verizon Nexus One (and an iPad) for Mother's Day.
