a nice phone but has slow processor.nokia should have used at least a 600 MHz processor.
Otherwise this phone has a lot to boast about.
Now, it's technically not the first time Nokia get their hands dirty with touch screens, but it sure feels they really mean business this time. For Nokia 5800 is not the only story here. The smart platform with the most influential touch receives its first trial by touch. Being the first device running Series 60 5th alone is enough for the 5800 to be remembered by.

I have had over 20 kinds of mobile phones with various options and makes within the past 7 years including Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Siemens, Motorola, Bird and many many more. Believe it or not, there was no other mobile phone which made me satisfied as much as my 5800 Xpress Music.

This phone has almost everything that could be technically inside a mobile phone. You name a feature, it's in the 5800. The user interface of the phone got really awesome with the new firmware update v40 which included kinetic scrolling. (If you don't know what kinetic scrolling means, goto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdgU1oAImfI). The screen has an awesome resolution and a color depth. Even if some options like playing a avi or a DivX movie clip doesn't come straight outta the box i have installed the Smart Movie player to make it possible. If anyone is in search to buy a phone which has all the techy stuff in it and to buy it without breaking a bank, this is the phone!

Wifi loses signal some times , though having good speed. GPS is very good now that ovi maps 3.03 with FREE voice navigation is available for this device.

Sweet phone

This cell phone is actually a very nice one. It does pretty much anything you want it to. Now you have to like actually typing on the screen with a touchscreen qwerty. But the touchscreen is very accurate. I have had some issues with my phone, but Nokia has been helpful. There are forums out there that I am also a part of where a lot of people that have this phone have had no issues with it at all. If you are looking for a nice, fairly inexpensive touchscreen phone, this is the one to get. Plus Nokia just released free navigation forever with select phones and this one is one of them.
