Just a few days ago, Microsoft unveiled some of the bigger features it was working on in its upcoming Windows Phone 8 platform, which is set to launch in the fall. Windows Phone has failed to really take off in the United States, partly due to few carriers supporting the platform, but also due to several manufacturers holding off on the platform until it was more fully baked.

According to a tipster familiar with the matter, HTC is preparing three Windows Phone 8 devices, a high-end device named “Zenith,” a mid-ranged p...

HTC is now probably the second-most important Windows Phone 8 manufacturer as Samsung is now mostly focused on Android, and Nokia is Microsoft’s sidekick, and good news is that HTC Windows Phone 8 roadmap has just leaked out.
Here’s what you’d get: the HTC Rio, HTC Zenith and HTC Accord. Just like on Android, HTC seems to use a trio of devices to hit different price points and still keep its focus.
Starting from the most affordable of the bunch, the HTC Rio will feature a 4-inch WVGA screen and come with a 5-megapixel camera shooting 720p video. The Qualcomm MSM8227, part of the Snapdragon S4 family, is what powers the devices and it works along with 512MB of RAM. Connectivity-wise, the upc...

Now Sprint also likes Windows Phone 8

Posted on May 09, 2012 by MG1

Sprint has not been the best of Windows Phone fans, famously suggesting HTC Arrive buyers should recycle their 6 month old phones for a new iPhone. The HTC Arrive is still their only Windows Phone.
