Toshiba‘s Camileo X200 and X400 camcorders, announced last month, have gone on sale, with a third model – the Camileo X416 – following on come October 10. Priced from $299, the new models each support Full HD 1080p video recording, with the X400 and X416 packing 23x optical zooms and digital image stabilization; the X416 has 16GB of internal storage, and both have SD/SDHC/SDXC card support.
There’s also a microphone input, HDMI output and a remote control. Both the X400 and X416 also get a “Pause” video recording function which allows users to temporarily cease filming and then resume later on, saving footage the same file rather than starting a new clip.
