The 3G version of the Sony Tablet S Android fondleslab is now shipping, and it is priced a hundred pounds sterling more than the Wi-Fi variant, likely to translate to $100 more in the US, if history of selling mobile gadgets across the Atlantic is any indication.
The tablet has a 9.4" display, and is powered by a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip, with 5MP rear and a front-facing camera both present. It also has the often overlooked infrared sensor, which is placed there to allow using the slate for a remote of Sony's TVs and Blu-ray players. »read more
