Had it since it came out!

Ownership period: more than 1 year.

I waiting in line for this to get it when it came out. I played it all day. I loved it. But now its boring. Still fun but not a console to play with all the time. Wii Fit is also a really good game. The Wii is mostly a console to play with when your having a party. It is a party console, not a gaming console.

Fun for the price

Still the cheapest system. when it first came out it was awesome, haven't been any good games for a while though. Only Nintendo branded games are good, all the 3rd party ones seem like they have potential but bad follow through

Gamers of all sorts

I love this little game council because of it's relaxed approach to gaming. Not to mention that the games are fun not "this is all i do with my life" take on gaming.
Although the system is strong enough to play "weaker" graphics wise versions of games as an example Avatar. The animation and graphics may not be the best they actually are the worst in the newer councils but the game play and experience are well worth the sacrifice. Some may say don't get it most of the games are not fun, I disagree primarily because only a small portion of the third party games are awkward or poor adaptations. The main line up and a large portion of the third party games are very enjoyable and the interface gives them a unique feel. I give it two thumbs up

A lot of bad games.

It's really simple: the console may be great, but if the games are not, there is no reason to have it. That applies to the Wii more than any other console out there as developers seem to find it hard to create good games. The first party line-up is excellent however, and those games can be enjoyed by all types of gamers.

Its Really Fun

It is great because people of all ages can enjoy it. All sorts of games have been coming out for it. Every one of my games are really fun to play, and you can play it all day without getting bored. My only complaint is that the contollers are so expensive.

The Everyday Player

The best part about the Wii is that it's extremely versatile allowing the hardcore every-day gamer to play and also letting the once in a blue moon video game enthusiast have at it as well. Title selection keeps growing, and all the add-on's make for a DIFFERENT experience from other consoles.

is a great gadget. Love the games available for it, a lot of family fun. This is a great way of spending time with family.the gaming experience is unique. I love seeing my 2 yr old don play bowlingm is such a great experience.

Great Value, Tons of Fun

The Wii is by far the best video game system for the family or parties. The way you play the games is very unique compared to other gaming systems available right now. The interaction is awesome. The new Wii motion plus attachment adds another level to game play. Games like Tiger Woods and Wii sports are much better when used with Wii motion plus. The only bad thing is sometimes the graphics. Graphics are not horrible but certainly could be better when compared to the 360 or PS3. But overall it is still tons of fun, and very entertaining. Thats the point right.

i love the wii sports, best social game package ever, but lets try and take a step out of the cartoon mario based graphics. if we had the option of adding in, or creating our own styled avatars it would be a lot more fun. i'd love to see ichigo, or rambo bowling!!

As fun as it gets

I really enjoy the Wii, the sports games are super fun and yet still challenging. The system is easy to use and is great for all ages. The graphics could be better, but I hear the Wii 2 will fix that problem.

This a great FAMILY/YOUNG user system. Yes its cool remotes and incredible accessories are fun, but a lack of more challenging games and better graphics make it a little "kiddish".

Worth every penny

I got this when it first came out so the build quality is excellent. Games all have great replay ability. Its a great system for a casual gamer and its the first system that i could play with just about anyone, including my grandmother and my mother. Everyone who plays this goes out and buys there own its very neat. Only downside is you have to keep buying new accessories, so don't let the low price fool you, it will cost you a lot in the end. However the games are much cheaper than the other systems so this does offset it somewhat.

just fun!

This is a great gaming system, especially for smaller children. My son really enjoys playing it and the controls are easy for him to understand. Where he has trouble with the PS2 controller, he has had no trouble understanding the Wii controls. The built-in wi-fi is a nice touch (though rarely used.) The number of games available is good and the availability of classic titles through the online store is great. Old NES titles can be played on emulators which are readily available, but they are much better when played on a Nintendo system, where they belong. Using after-market, non-Nintendo accessories can cause problems, however. I have had to reset the a/c adaptor several times because of the non-Nintendo SD card we're using.

Great family fun

We have the wii, fit, and rock band set up, so much fun. I'm normally a FPS and adventure gamer, but these games are a riot. Love the unit, and can actually get m y wife to play too. Cna't wait to try more Guy oriented games, but love it so far. Actually don't mind the Fit workouts either (juggling's harder than i thought)

"Fun" in ways

I have Wii sports as everyone probably does. I like the interactiveness of the console and how it keeps you in the game. Graphics could be way better, but overall it is fun in some ways.

I own Mario Kart Wii and this is a must have game for this system. If it's raining outside there is always something to do inside with the Nintendo Wii.

Family Fun

I really love the ease of use on the Wii. My 4 year old can just pick up the controller and start playing anything he wants (so long as we have it). The games are easy to understand what to do for him, but still challenging enough that it doesn't feel mundane to play or even watch. I myself don't play the Wii that much (I'm usually on my PC) but the enjoyment my kids get makes it worth every penny.

My son loves his wii. There couldn't be a better gaming device for young kids and family fun. We have hours of enjoyment on his wii and the games are easy for him to learn and use. Nintendo got it right.
