The new Canon IXUS 220 HS enters the market with a 12.1MP resolution, 5x zoom lens with an equivalent focal length of 24-120mm and stabilisation technology.
Feels solid, well engineered and looks like a quality product (which to be fair it should as it's not the cheapest compact on the market). Very compact and slim but with controls all comfortably to hand. An 8GB card gives you over 2,000 highest quality shots before it's full.
Overall, very pleased with the camera - had some reservations over the price when I purchased it but no longer as you get what you pay for with this camera, ie. really good quality and a 'feel good factor' whenever you use it.
