Appleās iPad 2 has been carrying the torch for the best quality display, but a recent comparison test suggests that it may be ousted by the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. The test was conducted by DisplayMate, comparing the iPad 2 display to that of various other Android tablets in addition to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, including the Motorola XOOM, Acer Iconia Tab A500, and the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer.
The attributes that DisplayMate focused on were color accuracy, viewing angles, saturation, brightness and contrast, screen reflections, backlight power consumption, and battery life of the display.
