The official Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY will not be out until later this spring, but if you are eager to have a taste of Google's latest and greatest, you can try out this early ICS ROM that just surfaced on the web, courtesy of the guys at XDA Developers. The ROM is based on Android 4.0.3 and retains most of the looks and feel of the stock Ice Cream Sandwich experience. Judging by what the folks are saying in the comments, albeit being an early build, the ROM is still stable enough to be taken for a quick spin.
