Nice Throw Around

This netbook is handy as a throw around computer. It does all the computing I need, but is also not something I would be devastated with losing. I still use it for testing and just messing around. I would definitely recommend this netbook.

Osbor

the original Wind. quite a tiny powerhouse.

i got the Wing U100 for my freshman year of college. At the time it was $500 so it was quite the investment.
Luckily it turned out to be a great laptop. it came with windows XP stock and i was consistent impressed with what it could run. Photoshop, lots of firefox windows, multiple browsers simultaneously. It has trouble with games but i use my desktop for those anyway. The keyboard is fantastic. very spacious given the space provided by the device, great return on the keys and it has a full function key row for various features (such as the webcam and kind of "overclock" button)

I keep it in my backpack almost constantly, it's very useful for classes (and classes that are a little bit too boring).

however at the time the first glaring downside was evident almost immediately, the battery life was terrible. Barely 2 hours if i didn't use wifi. Of course the purchase of the good quality 6 cell fixed this immediately but still, they could have put a little more into the battery.

Today, 2 years later, the poor thing is kind of falling apart, and my hard drive is constantly on the verge of being full.
it's missing a screw for some reason, i have no idea where it went, it must have wiggled loose a while ago. the result is that the case is kind of peeling apart in some areas, others are cracked slightly, and the screen hinge is kind of floating.

however it still performs as well as day one, and i still bring it with me everywhere. All in all, a good netbook
