Ownership period: less than 1 year.

it is a good laptop if it is just used for the internet and word documents. besides that it cant do everything a normal computer can do, which is understandable. It isnt made to do everything, its really just for the internet

Ownership period: less than 3 months.

It has a great display and simple yet briliant multimedia features, but it's a little bit slow when doing some buissenes. One other plus is it size. Very light. It design is very attractive and very user friendly. It has big keys and enough ports for any kind a job.

Ownership period: less than 1 year.

Super compact and light weight, awesome for traveling and people on the go. 3 usb ports and webcam built in. Fairly decent battery life on it, keyboard is nice and big, just hook up a wireless mouse and your good to go. Great for real estate agents!

ION is good, Atom not

Ownership period: less than 3 months.

I love the size, design, screen, keyboard. I wasn't fan of the trackpad buttons, situated on the edge of the laptop, but I got used to them. Video plays nicely even at 1080p, thanks to the Nvidia ION video chipset and HDMI is nice, for connecting to a large TV. However, do not forget this is a netbook. The Atom processor is OK for very basic usage, but sometimes it can make you MAD at the slow performance, even if you are using the 311 for everyday computing.
