T-Mobile UK's Samsung Galaxy S finally gets the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update

I’m not sure why it took so long for T-Mobile UK to finally launch the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the original Samsung Galaxy S. I know carriers like to test firmware updates thoroughly, but I don’t think that’s the excuse. Especially when we know that AT&T’s version of the device (Samsung Captivate) and Sprint’s Samsung Epic 4G already got the same treatment.
