Toshiba‘s Camileo X200 and X400 camcorders, announced last month, have gone on sale, with a third model – the Camileo X416 – following on come October 10. Priced from $299, the new models each support Full HD 1080p video recording, with the X400 and X416 packing 23x optical zooms and digital image stabilization; the X416 has 16GB of internal storage, and both have SD/SDHC/SDXC card support.
There’s also a microphone input, HDMI output and a remote control. Both the X400 and X416 also get a “Pause” video recording function which allows users to temporarily cease filming and then resume later on, saving footage the same file rather than starting a new clip.

The X200 and X400 also, of course, steps things up quite a bit in terms of features, the standout ones being a 12x optical zoom on the X200 and a 23x zoom on the X400. Still no word on prices for any of them, but Toshiba says they'll be available sometime in the fourth quarter of this year (in Europe, at least). Hit the PR...
