There's no QNX (or BBX, we should say) here, but the Bold 9930 is still taking baby steps towards the future with BlackBerry OS 7. Now that you've had a few months to tinker with your latest and greatest, we're interested to hear how you'd tweak things if given the keys to Waterloo. Would you make it look a bit more like this? BlackBerry Bold 9930 now available from Verizon for $250

With nary a peep from RIM or Verizon Wireless, the BlackBerry Bold 9930 has shown up on Big Red's website and is now available to purchase. The Bold 9930 is the latest flagship smartphone to come from Waterloo, and it replaces the aging Bold 9650. It is powered by a 1.2GHz processor, features a 640 x 480 pixel touchscreen above its full QWERTY keyboard, and is said to be the thinnest BlackBerry smartphone produced to date at only 10.4mm (0.41in). The Bold 9930 runs the latest BlackBerry OS 7, which is touted to offer web browsing capabilities that are 40 percent faster than with OS 6. Sprint is reportedly ready to launch RIM's BlackBerry Torch 9850 and Bold 9930 within the next two weeks. The carrier recently confirmed plans to launch both devices, however the company did not provide details regarding release timing. Oh boy, we don't envy the Verizon web admin who made this particular mis-click. If you go to VZW's sales page for the Blackberry 9650 and click on the "Explore Features" video, you get an unexpected treat: a walkthrough not of the 9650, but of the unreleased Bold 9930. The specs are familiar, like the 1.2GHz processor, 2.8-inch touchscreen and Blackberry 7 OS. But at least we now have it from the horse's mouth that the new Bold Touch is indeed coming to Verizon. We've stuck our own rip of the video after the break, as the original will likely disappear any second -- much like that poor web admin.
