Top Notch Phone, A Great Alternative to iPhones

I've used this phone for about a month now and I must say, it is a phone that I will stick with for a while until of course, a much better version of the phone comes out. With all the specs, you can tell that this phone has great quality inside of it. How it works is absolutely great, but it definitely needs more applications (with quality) in it, much like the Apple Store. Many of the apps just look poorly made or it could be because it is available for all the Android phones with different specs. I don't know, but I have to say it does need to catch up in this area. Besides that, it runs extremely fast and very customizable. I love the widgets, which is something that I wish every phone I used had as good as this one. Also, I love having a phone many people have no clue about. I say "I have the Nexus." "What?" "Oh, its the google phone. Best phone out there right now." Haha, overall, its an amazing phone.

Nexus One, Phone for kings

I received my Nexus One on Feb 15th and since then my life hasn't been the same. The first two nights I had it I didn't go to bed until 3 OClock because I was up downloading apps and seeing what all my new phone could do. I had to literally force myself to go to sleep. So clearly I love it. The main thing I am infatuated with is the not only huge but ridiculously clear screen, and you cant beat that snapdragon proccessor. In conclusion the Nexus to me is the best phone that could possibly accompany you into the ever growing land that is the android OS.

I have now had this phone for 3 weeks, and boy do I love it! I simply love the way this phone reacts, lightning fast and smooth. I came from the Motorola Milestone and must say this was a nogde up. The way google support openness is much better then that of Motorola. I like the way this phone lies in your hand, and sort of fits.

Awesome, but...

It is freakin' fast. I love it to death. When it comes to making hardware, HTC takes the cake. Unfortunately, Android just isn't there yet. I do use it as my main phone and I'm content with the OS. The screen is vibrant an beautiful. The touch-sensitive buttons below the screen are the worst part. The contact point is way off. If you look closely, the contact point is above where the icon is, almost touching the screen. So if you miss the spacebar, then you'll end up bringing up a menu. I wish it had Sense UI on it, though. But then again, I guess that's what the Desire is for, right?

The phone nexus 1 is all about good pretty much, all but 1 thing... mostly things are the same for almost all droid phones except for ones with 1.6,1.5, or 2.0 android with motoblur... but other than that the only thing different is the design and the speed which the nexus 1 is fast but so is the palm pre plus and it can do everything and more than the nexus 1 probably.

After a Month...

After owning a G1, the Nexus One is Amazingly fast, yet familar. The applications open about twice as fast and the web-browsing experience feels much more smooth and polished. The moving background is a nice touch and doesn't seem to wipe out the battery like I feared it would. In fact, the battery life has been terrific considering the load put on it from pretty heavy internet usage. I'm having trouble getting used to is the lack of a physical keyboard, but the virtual keyboard is much improved and is actually usable on the 3.7" screen. I still miss the tactile feedback you get from real keys, but this is really a preference thing so I won't hold it against the phone. The only other problem is the placement of the power button near the volume keys. Everytime I set the phone to standby, I end up turn the volume down or off by mistake. It's been a month and I still do it about every third time. Mind you, that's a minor thing, but it is a little annoying. Other than that, the phone works great and doesn't seem to have any of these 3G connection problems I've been hearing about (atleast here is Seattle) and is even supposed to be getting an update to fix what few 3G problems exist. There's even supposed to be a multi-touch update on the way...
The bottom line is if you are interested in this phone, read the reviews of users. It might have had a little too much hype in the beginning, but that doesn't mean it isn't a stellar phone.
