Samsung Galaxy Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

Samsung's Galaxy is a smart-looking Android phone with a vivid OLED screen that makes viewing photos and videos a pleasure. Its 5-megapixel camera has a flash, and there's a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has 8GB of internal memory and memory card slot, so there's plenty of storage for music, videos and photos.

There are some irritating aspects to the physical design which detract from the Galaxy i7500, and Android has been left sadly tweak-free. This wouldn't be our Android handset of choice.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

Samsung has to be commended for being the first non-HTC manufacturer to release an Android phone to the market, as it's taking everyone else far too long to achieve the same thing. The problem for the Galaxy is others have already shown us what's possible with Android, with Archos, HTC and Motorola already skinning Android to the nines to create a plethora of new functionality.

Samsung too has found its way to the Android operating system with the Galaxy i7500. This new Google operating system certainly really does add extra value and allows the user to get more out of the Samsung Galaxy smartphone. Also thanks to the Android Market, where navigation solutions, games and many other software applications can be downloaded.

A fine phone with a wondrous screen, but it has its flaws and it's far too expensive

Samsung's first Android smart phone has some good points, like its OLED screen, but it feels like a rush job.

GSMArena‘s review Edit

So, there we are at the restaurant at the end of the Galaxy. It's more of a sweet shop though and the next thing on the list of the specials will be donuts. But that won't be on the Samsung I7500 Galaxy shift. Enough fooling around though, it's time to tell the Galaxy there's no such thing as free lunch.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

The Samsung Galaxy i7500 promised so much that we were very excited about getting our hands on it. The shock of finding out that Samsung has severely neglected some very important features and made questionable design decisions distracts from the fact that this is still a good smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy should have been a class-leading Android handset with its good quality camera, superb-looking screen, and masses of storage. However, a misguided collection of physical buttons, a poor keyboard implementation, and the lack of multi-touch result in a frustrating user experience.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

With the Samsung Galaxy I7500, the Korean giant makes its first steps in the Android universe that´s already packed with vicious predators. What the handset delivers to gain an upper hand in the fierce battle for galactic supremacy includes 5-megapixel camera, AMOLED screen and 8GB built-in memory…
