Apple iPhone 3G Pro Reviews

www.whathifi.com‘s review Edit

Sensational performance in an intuitive, fool-proof package. Simply brilliant. The second generation iPhone includes 3G technology for faster web browsing, and sports a thinner chassis and new plastic back panel (black on the 8GB version, black or white on the 16GB).The iPhone also produces a subtle picture with a natural colour palette. Even streaming content through BBC’s iPlayer, the iPhone did a great job.

A highly desirable device that still leads the way for ease of use, even if it isn't the most rounded phone around.

With a lower price, 3G radio, and GPS, this smart phone is in a class by itself.

It still isn't perfect, but Apple has improved the iPhone 3G enough to make it a great choice for most users who need a cell phone that doubles as an excellent handheld computer.

Softpedia‘s review Edit

Apple managed to successfully update their first-generation smartphone and increase their income in the handset market. I was pleasantly surprised by the iPhone 3G and would definitely use one as a secondary phone. It looks and feels like the perfect phone, even though it misses some features that even common handsets include.

Remember the hype that surrounded the days before and after the iPhone launch last year? The euphoria continues with the launch of the iPhone 3G. The phone builds upon its predecessor by offering access to 3G networks, among other refinements, which we'll discuss later...

MacNN‘s review Edit

As tremendous as the original iPhone's impact was, the iPhone 3G is arguably Apple's most important iPhone ever: it not only has to fix as many of the first-run problems as possible but also represent Apple in new but notoriously unforgiving markets such as Japan...

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

It’s finally here, the first phone to beat the iPhone. Or is it? The iPhone 3G is out, with high-speed data and GPS and Exchange support and a whole slew of new features. It’s been slightly redesigned, but remains 100% Apple. It now has an App Store, where developers can create applications for the device and distribute them through iTunes...
