BlackBerry Bold 9000 Pro Reviews

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

With its large screen, fast internet connection – using both Wi-Fi and HSDPA - camera, sophisticated media player, GPS and more, the Blackberry Bold would seem to fit the profile of an iPhone challenger, but such talk is largely irrelevant – the two are aimed at different markets, and while the iPhone might be an excellent entertainment station, the Bold is the one that means business.

The Bold is the perfect name for this phone. It features bold color and sound, is a large, bold size, and features an impressively big and vivid screen. In fact, it's too bad many applications on the phone don't take advantage of the screen's possibilities. Instant messaging, email, text/multimedia messages and the phone's Internet browser all have a drab black and white set-up.

The handset offers a remarkable display, a great keyboard and an unsurpassed among the family connectivity. We highly doubt that there will be something more that a BlackBerry fan could want, except for maybe the more compact body of the Curve.

BlackBerry Bold 9000 is one of the most appealing smartphones coming from RIM in terms of design. Even though it's not one of the smallest devices, the Bold (like its name says) is definitely one of those phones that have the 'wow factor'. Better seen as a business device, I would recommend the Bold 9000 before any other Blackberry smartphone, not just because it looks good, but also because it is one of the few that include all the features a businessman needs nowadays.

MobileBurn‘s review Edit

RIM's hard core business devices, the 8800 series, have long been overshadowed by the slicker and more entertaining Curve and Pearl model lines. That trend has ended, though, now that the new Bold 9000 series of devices are shipping. The BlackBerry Bold 9000 maintains the 8800's slightly larger form factor and keyboard but packs in a high-resolution display and modern multimedia features and stuffs them into a striking new design.

Research in Motion (RIM) is a Canadian manufacturer, known for the BlackBerry phones. Probably far and away the best handsets for mobile email, these smart phones are the suits’ favorite gadgets.
