This was my second Blackberry and I must say it was a great phone..... If my job didnt require me to travel over seas I would never have gotten rid of this phone. Some of the features I truely enjoyed where the App world,BB Messenger, the security settings as I work with sensitive information

I had it for over a year and loved it. It was one of the best made blackberries I've had in a while. Had no problems with it, except the track ball that got dirty and started to not work as well as it did before. Otherwise it was great

There are so many great things about the Curve that it's hard to start naming them off. You've got RIM's quality communication and business tools, the best in class e-mail it provides, a decent application base that, until Apple and Android came along, was considered great.

But there are things that can drive a cellphone user up the wall, and just when you think you've found the phone you are not going to hate, you're wrong. The Curve 8330 (the CDMA rendition of the 83xx series) has particular problems dealing with Java apps that run in the background. Opera Mini and Facebook sometimes lock the phone up to the point where a battery pull is necessary. I took care of this by installing QuickPull and running it daily. But in a good phone you shouldn't have to do this.

On a higher note, on Verizon the Curve performs fantastically as a phone. But my favorite thing about the Curve is how it fits in your hand. The device is made for the palm. It seems RIM knows a thing or two about designing devices meant to be used for extended periods of time.
