Canon EOS Rebel T6i Pro Reviews

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

This is a great camera that's capable of delivering superb image quality. The polished control layout is easy to use, with the touchscreen interface making it much quicker to use, and everything's backed up by solid performance.

DP Review‘s review Edit

The Rebel T6i brings resolution and low-light performance in line with its 2015 peers. The 19-point, all cross-type AF system is a welcome upgrade to the line, but is limited in its coverage and isn't good at following subjects moving around the frame. Live view shooting includes effective subject tracking, however lack of continuous AF limits the usefulness of live view shooting. The body is almost identical to previous Rebel models, offering a good shooting experience.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Canon EOS Rebel T6i D-SLR omits some of the features found in its fraternal twin, the T6s, but costs less. While the T6i is no slouch, if you can afford it, spend the extra $100 on the T6s.

ephotozine‘s review Edit

Canon has finally caught up to the competition by offering an APS-C sensor camera with a 24 megapixel CMOS sensor. If you already have a Canon EOS xxD camera of a lower resolution, and want higher image quality with better detail, then the Canon EOS 750D is worth investing in, especially if you already have Canon lenses. There are additional focus points, with 19 instead of 9 and the live view focusing has been significantly improved. With built in Wi-Fi and NFC the camera can now be remotely controlled and sending images to a compatible smartphone or tablet is very easy. The Canon EOS 750D is priced competitively, however, as the 760D is only £50 more and offers better controls as well as a top LCD screen, we can't help from feeling that if you have the additional money to spare then you may be better served by the 760D. If however the price difference becomes greater over time, then the 750D would still be an excellent choice, delivering excellent image quality with great colour and low noise.
