KODAK ESP 3.2 Pro Reviews

printercomparison‘s review Edit

The ESP 3.2 tries hard to be more than your typical low end AIO and in many ways it succeeds: a decent sized touchscreen, easy navigation, great software, mobile services and decent print speeds. But it fails when it comes to producing quality prints, at least color 4x6 photographs. I tried calibrating the printer to fix the issue but only found another downfall of a budget friendly AIO: auto calibration. I couldn't tell the ESP 3.2 what it was doing wrong, and so it kept doing it. Final take: the ESP 3.2 is a fine printer for an individual who wants the ability to print, scan or copy basic copy, but if you are looking for a photo printer, you might want to consider spending a little more on the HERO 9.1.

Macworld‘s review Edit

If you want a combination of great photo quality, scanning and copying options, and low-cost ink, the Kodak ESP 3.2 is a good choice. The output (with the aforementioned caveats) and amenities, such as ease of use and software, are top-notch. The Epson Stylus NX430 has a similar price tag and features, but its inks are more expensive. Another option is to pay a bit more for the Canon Pixma MG4120, which offers automatic duplexing to help you save paper.

computershopper‘s review Edit

Granted, the Kodak ESP 3.2 lacks features for handling multipage scans and copies, and it can't fax. Still, it delivers outstanding prints, scans, and copies for the price, and it does so at speeds comparable to other $100 machines. Just as important (to our mind, anyway) is that it doesn’t have a "double-digit" (that is, higher-than-10-cent) cost per color page, which makes it easier on your budget than most inkjets. You don't have to look very far to find under-$100 models that provide multipage scanning and copying. However, few of them do everything else as well as the ESP 3.2, or they'll cost you more per-page while they're doing it. To get a printer with this low a CPP, you usually have to pay well more than $100 for the machine itself. For undemanding home offices, as well as families looking to save a buck, the ESP 3.2 is a very good value.

Cheap running costs, but average scanning and printing quality - there are better printers for the price

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

The Kodak ESP 3.2 offers the same cloud-based printing functions as its Office Hero linemates, but users will likely grow frustrated with its shoddy build problems and weak output performance. Check out the Epson Stylus NX430 or the Canon Pixma MX372 for a more reliable alternative at the same price.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

Aimed primarily at home use, the Kodak ESP 3.2 All-in-One Printer inkjet MFP can also serve for light-duty use in a home office, or in the dual role of home and home-office printer.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

Your PC is no longer the focus for Kodak's ESP range, with WiFi and support for multiple devices. Print speeds are a little on the slow side but photo printing speeds are more respectable, and the quality is worthy of the name “Kodak”. The Kodak ESP 3.2 will be good purchase for home and small office photo printers.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

Kodak has certainly delivered value and simplicity, and photo output is convincing when you use premium Kodak glossy photo paper. Running costs are good, and although the launch price of £79 in the UK or $99.99 in the US puts it slightly ahead of its rivals, it's not in a different ballpark.
