Barnes & Noble's mystery Nook Audio revealed to be a pair of headphones

We heard of a mystery Barnes & Noble product known as Nook Audio a few weeks ago, but now the secret is out — according to a new image added to the product page on BN.com, it appears to be simply a pair of headphones. There's unfortunately still no other details whatsoever — no price, no release date, or any hint on what might make these headphones qualified to bear the Nook brand. With an image now available, however, we'd expect some real detail on this product to make the rounds very soon. With the Nook Tablet and Nook Color's audio and video capabilities, we suppose a Nook-branded pair of headphones makes at least some amount of sense.
