Brother HL-3075CW Pro Reviews

printercomparison‘s review Edit

The Brother HL-3075cw does everything it’s suppose to: it printed quality color and text documents at a consistent rate of 19 ppm. It offers plenty of features a small office or business could take advantage of including: wired and wireless networking, a front side USB port, Secure Print and a decent sized 250-sheet paper drawer. So what’s the catch? This printer is really meant for a small workgroup or office in need of added color; it’s never going to be the sole device in an office with a decent sized print volume. And I’m not going to lie, I feel like Brother should offer automatic duplexing standard on the HL-3075cw. Still, if what you are looking for is a reliable, consistent color printer with laser quality priced at under $300, the HL-3075cw could be the right fit.

computershopper‘s review Edit

The HL-3075CW is without question a capable laser-class printer. Its print times and document quality are as good as or better than many competing models. However, you need to look at today's speedy high-volume inkjets, and the low per-page costs that some of these models now have relative to low-cost lasers. Lasers will always make perfect sense for certain users, especially those with a need for speedy, smudge-free output and little desire to print photos. But at the printer market's low end, the benefits of choosing a laser or laser-class device over an inkjet are dwindling nowadays. That's especially true if the printer, like this one, has a limited mix of features and such a high cost per page. It's time that Brother and other laser-class device manufacturers reevaluate these entry-level devices' place in the printer market. The gaps between laser-class printers and inkjet machines, in terms of print speed and printing-cost advantage, have started to narrow. For this class of printers to remain competitive, their operational costs need to come down.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Brother HL-3075CW color laser printer delivers excellent speed combined with acceptable, but unimpressive, output quality and appropriate paper handing for a small or micro office.
