The Intel Core I7 950 is a beast of a processor! It was able to chew up and spit out everything we threw at it with a grin on it's face. Several of the tests even show the Intel Core I7 950 running neck and neck with the $874.99 Intel Core I7 970!

Tom's Hardware‘s review Edit Like Unlike

For the folks who buy tier-one boxes and have no interest in touching their nuts and bolts, the appeal of these new chips is clear. But that isn’t me, and it’s probably not you either. I don’t have any problem recommending Core i7 over Phenom II right now.
