Lenovo IdeaCentre B540 25681VU Pro Reviews

computershopper‘s review Edit

The IdeaCentre B540 comes with a basic software bundle, which is fair given the price. Lenovo includes a bunch of kids' games among the preloaded Windows 8 live tiles. Some are cute, some are educational, and all of them will help children get used to using the touch screen. For the grown-ups, there's Lenovo PowerDVD (by CyberLink) for music, video, and DVD playback, plus Lenovo Power2Go (also by CyberLink) for creating all manner of CD and DVD discs. It even supports writing Blu-ray data discs should you connect an external BD burner. The Lenovo YouCam webcam utility (sourced from, you guessed it, CyberLink) is easy to use and offers fun effects and filters. You also get 30-day trials for McAfee Internet Security and Microsoft Office 2010. Lenovo warrants the system for one year, which again is fair for this price point.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Lenovo IdeaCentre B540 all-in-one PC is one of the less expensive ways to get a true Windows 8 experience with a large screen. You do give up a little compared to more expensive all in ones, but it's still a decent buy all the same.
