Canon imageCLASS MF5950dw Pro Reviews

printercomparison‘s review Edit

Canon has made great strides in this imageCLASS arena in both usability and features offered. The MF5950dw is a good example of this. They added wireless connectivity standard - a first for this lineup - as well as 5-line LCD w/animation and faster print speeds to a laser class device under $500. And while I had some issues with usability in our MF5880 review with the scanning, the MF5950dw was a breeze to use. The only real issue I had with the MF5950dw was the inconsistent scan quality. You can see in our review samples how the image files saved to my computer came out faded when the original offered crisp, laser quality text. I believe that the imageCLASS MF5950dw, while not the perfect machine, has much to offer a small business looking for a decent priced monochrome MFP because of the unique features usually found on higher end models - or not at all in the case of the wireless connectivity. And I'm interested to see how Canon continues to improve in this market share.
