Ownership period: less than a month.

I've picked up this device when the store opened on launch day and have been enjoying nearly every moment with it since.

The screen is large, clean and crisp. The device is responsive and well laid out. I have had phenomenal battery life - two days between charges with, wifi, gps and (as of yesterday) bluetooth on 24x7. The camera is super fast and takes good pics - on par with most phones, maybe a bit short of the best - IMO the zero shutter lag makes up for any perceived imperfections in the images. NFC/Google wallet is awesome.

The new OS is clean and easy, a nice step up from GB - I had the phone unlocked and rooted a few minutes after sitting down at my desk. No issues at all.

The device feels good in your hand, I have average sized hands and can reach the entire screen with one hand. I often do use 2 hands, but I do the same with my ip4s - but in this case you actually have room for two hands! I like the weight, I don't prescribe to the too light = cheap mantra. I don't know how to quantify "build quality" They say the original driod was 10/10.... I guess, mine had keyboard issues a couple times. The ip4 is ranked high as well... but that glass back make me nuts.


The device does have some short comings:

- Radios are not great - I don't care about the bars - I find that the rezound we have gets 4g more often than the Gnex.

- sound is a bit low, but is fine for my purposes.

- not all apps work on it or are flagged not to, so you might waste some time installing apps that you cant use

No horizontal dock available for it yet
