Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC Pro Reviews

www.whatdigitalcamera.com‘s review Edit

This lens does a great job at controlling chromatic aberrations at 200mm, with a blinding result at the centre and above average in the corner. Elsewhere the lens puts in a lacklustre performance, with the chromatic aberration readings at 18mm at about average for this type of lens. The resolution, while peaking at nearly 1200lwpph at f/4, rapidly fall offs into mediocrity. At 200mm, the low resolution is matched only by Nikon's alternative. A bit of a disappointment with inconsistent performance

slrgear‘s review Edit

If you need to just put one lens on your camera and leave it there, yet still want to cover a focal length range from wide angle to a pretty long tele, this lens is a very good, affordable solution, offering better optical performance than its competition over much of its range.

Camera Labs‘s review Edit

Delivering a focal range equivalent to 27-300mm, the Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC is a highly versatile lens. Its massive 11.1x zoom range allows you to capture both wide landscape shots and decent close-ups of distant subjects such as wildlife without worrying about carrying additional lenses.
