PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Dell UltraSharp U2412M is a feature-rich 24-inch monitor offering beautiful color reproduction and great off-angle viewing but its dark grayscale performance falls a bit short.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

When it comes to value, there are few monitors that show up like the U2412m does. It includes a great list of ergonomic features, plenty of useful OSD customizations, and good performance at a great price. HDMI will be missed, and while it won't quite match high-end monitors in viewing angle performance, most users wouldn't even notice the difference. Professionals who rely on pinpoint accuracy, however, will want to spend a bit more money to get something that better aligns to their needs.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Dell UltraSharp U2412 delivers very good value for money and will appeal to anyone who needs to spend a lot of time in front of their monitor. It's not a multimedia display, but its excellent display quality and ergonomics make it great for design, long-term office use or gaming. Above all, it's an absolute pleasure to use.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

There are a good range of menu options, such as clock and phase that we don't often see in affordable panels, though the U2412 didn't automatically adjust its orientation as we flipped it from landscape to portrait. As for an IPS's Achilles heel: response time, yes it's noticeable through rigorous benchmarking, but you won't notice the difference to a TN's response while you're gaming. That makes the U2412M a winner. It's a well-built, affordable and adjustable IPS panel.

You are getting a lot of extra features, such as the adjustable stand, 4-port USB hub and the better viewing angles of an IPS panel. You also get a DisplayPort input, which could be useful if you have a modern AMD graphics card.
